Web Scraping Project

While working as a graduate ambassador at the University of Utah, the program director Jeff Webb asked for my help in creating a web scraper for indeed.com.

His goal was to create a specialized job board for the three masters programs he was in charge of: Business Analytics (MSBA), Cybersecurity Management (MSCM), and Information Systems (MSIS).

Our intent was to make job searches easier for students within these programs, and also to add various useful metrics using keyword analysis.

A prototype – which can be found below – was finished before I graduated, though a full version has yet to be completed.
